Meet Member Artist Garrett Kopka!

Owner of G.KopkArt, Garrett Kopka creates unique tie-dye and stretched canvas work, as well as glow-in-the-dark packs. Many of his stretched canvas creations feature bold vibrant colors, with an even greater effect under blacklight. He enjoys encompassing sacred geometry in his T-shirts, tapestries and most recently, upcycled clothes.

Garrett has had his work showcased in shops in the Mankato, MN area. His pop-up shop can be found at music festivals and art fairs throughout the region.What’s more, Garrett teaches the art of tie-dye to groups ranging from 2 to 75 people!

Garrett assumed a leadership position with the Prior Lake Art Dock until the organization was combined with the Savage Area Arts Community most recently. We are fortunate to include Garrett in the work of the Savage Area Arts Community and feature his work here and throughout the community in the months ahead.
