Teach a Class
We are always looking for eager instructors to teach classes in any artistic discipline - for adults and/or for youth. Painting, drawing, clay, fiber, jewelry, writing, music, movement… any and all ideas are welcome. Pay is negotiable and based on a percentage model based on student enrollment. Times, dates, number of sessions - all negotiable. We are grateful for your expertise and our community will appreciate your talent and investment in the Savage Area Arts Community. Opportunities for Artists
We are looking for artists who are or will become members of the Savage Area Arts Community to show their work on this website under our “Featured Member Artist” page and be featured in our monthly newseltter. A short bio and artist statement as well as images of your work will be featured.
Calling all artists, arts enthusiasts, and community members!! As part of the city’s ongoing placemaking initiative tocreate meaningful places and spaces that foster a sense of belonging andpromote civic pride, the city is installing a permanent mural outside the newSavage Library expansion. Join the mural artists Lynda Grafito, Eh Soe Dwe, andNicolas Castillo for an interactive collage-making workshop to generate ideasand inspiration for creating a mural design representing our community. This is a FREE workshop. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Materials and snacks provided. In addition, Mosaic-making workshops are scheduled in April. Sign up now to be included.
